Store Guard watches every visitor, customer, and order on your Shopify store, scores risk in real time on a transparent 0–100 scale, and lets you block traffic you don't want before it turns into a problem. It's built around three signals: IP intelligence (geolocation, VPN, proxy, threat history), customer history (order patterns, chargebacks, repeat offences), and a customisable rule engine.
You decide what gets blocked, what gets flagged for manual review, and what just gets a tag on the order so your fulfilment team can decide. Every decision is explained, every rule can run in test mode first, and the whole thing fails open if our service is unreachable so a real customer is never stuck at checkout.

Real-time risk scoring
A transparent 0–100 risk score per visitor and order with a factor-by-factor breakdown. No black box.
IP intelligence
VPN, proxy, datacentre, and known-bad-IP detection backed by threat-history data and geolocation.
Customer history
Order pattern analysis, cancellation and chargeback rates, repeat-offender detection across emails and names.
Custom rule engine
Build rules like "block if order over $500 from a VPN" or "flag if cancellation rate over 30%." Multiple actions per rule.
Test mode
Run any rule in log-only mode first. See what it would have blocked before turning it on for real.
Manual review queue
Don't auto-block borderline orders. Flag them for review, your team confirms or releases.
Fail-open checkout
Sub-200 ms checkout validation that runs in parallel with Shopify. If our service is unreachable, checkout still completes.
GDPR compliant
All three mandatory Shopify GDPR webhooks implemented. PII stripped from associated orders on customer redact.
Who Store Guard is for
Merchants who:
- Are seeing chargebacks, fraudulent orders, or cancellation patterns that Shopify's built-in fraud analysis isn't catching.
- Ship internationally and need country-level or IP-level controls without writing custom code.
- Want explainable risk scores so the support and fulfilment teams understand why an order was flagged.
- Don't want a heavy enterprise fraud platform; want something that lives inside the Shopify Admin and gets out of the way.
Plans
A Free plan covers visitor tracking, country / IP / customer blocking, basic rules, and a daily fraud digest, up to 500 orders per month. Pro and Business plans add VPN / proxy / threat detection, advanced rule actions, real-time alerts, checkout-time validation, and higher order limits. Free trial included on every paid plan. Final pricing will be on the Shopify App Store listing at launch.
Launch status
Store Guard is currently in private testing. We're working towards a Shopify App Store launch and will announce the date here as soon as it's confirmed.
