What Contacts Pro does

Contacts Pro is a Shopify app that gives merchants a richer, more flexible view of every customer than the native Shopify customer screen. Instead of a flat list of names and orders, you get a full customer record with custom fields, store credit, login activity, marketing consent state, and an activity log — all kept in sync with Shopify in real time.

It is designed for stores that have outgrown Shopify's built-in customer tools but don't want the weight of a full external CRM. One install, one screen in your Shopify Admin, every contact in one place.

Core features

Store credit

Add or deduct store credit per customer, set expiration dates, optionally notify the customer, and keep a full transaction log.

Login tracking

Track every customer login on your storefront. See total logins, first login, last login, and an analytics dashboard with trends.

Custom fields

Birthdate, gender, job title, tax ID. Auto-configured on first use, visible in Shopify Admin, included in CSV exports.

Bulk operations

Delete, tag, or untag thousands of contacts in one go. Long-running jobs run in the background with a progress bar.

CSV import / export

Shopify-compatible CSV format. Large imports run in the background. Search-filtered exports give you a slice of data on demand.

Real-time Shopify sync

Customer updates, deletes, tag changes, and marketing consent changes in Shopify Admin appear in the app instantly.

Marketing consent

Email and SMS consent toggles per contact, synced two-way with Shopify. Included in CSV imports and exports.

GDPR compliant

Implements all Shopify mandatory GDPR webhooks: customer data request, customer redact, shop redact.

How it works

Install from the Shopify App Store. The app auto-configures sync and custom fields on first run — no setup steps. Open the app from your Shopify Admin and you're looking at every customer with everything Contacts Pro tracks. Changes made in the app push back to Shopify; changes made in Shopify Admin push forward to the app. No double-entry, no out-of-sync data.

Privacy and data

Contacts Pro processes only the customer data needed to provide its features. We do not sell, share, or repurpose your data. Customer data is deleted automatically within 30 days of uninstall (sooner on GDPR request). For full detail, see our Privacy Policy.
